Scope of the Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Bean Luxe public website, together with the Bean Luxe Compass Roaster Subscription where the customer selects a roaster plan through Bean Luxe checkout or another Bean Luxe commercial flow that refers to these Terms.
Where the subscription terms below apply, the contracting party acts in a professional capacity and purchases on behalf of a roastery, company or professional activity.
Website Content and Availability
The Bean Luxe public website contains educational, editorial, institutional and commercial information about Bean Luxe, Bean Luxe Compass, services, partnerships and coffee culture.
Bean Luxe makes reasonable efforts to keep public information accurate and current, but content, platform features, availability, pricing and service scope may change over time.
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, public website content is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability, completeness or fitness for a specific purpose. Bean Luxe may update, correct, suspend or remove pages, assets or features where reasonably necessary.
Information published on the website does not constitute professional legal, tax, medical, financial or technical advice.
Bean Luxe Compass Roaster Subscription Terms
The following provisions apply specifically to the Bean Luxe Compass Roaster Subscription.
1. B2B eligibility
The Bean Luxe Compass Roaster Subscription is reserved exclusively for roasteries, companies and professional operators acting for purposes related to their business or professional activity.
By subscribing, the customer confirms that it is not purchasing as a consumer and is acting on behalf of a roastery, business or professional activity.
2. Subscription activation
The subscription begins when payment is successfully completed.
Following payment, Bean Luxe begins onboarding. Access to individual features may depend on completion of onboarding, submission of required business information and compliance with Bean Luxe quality and content standards.
3. Plans and billing
Monthly and annual plans are recurring subscriptions.
At the date of this version, the standard plan is offered at EUR 49 plus applicable VAT per month or EUR 468 plus applicable VAT per year. The selected amount and billing frequency are shown at checkout.
VAT and any other applicable taxes are added or handled according to the customer's location and the applicable tax rules.
4. Automatic renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal date. Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually.
5. Cancellation
The subscriber may cancel at any time before the next renewal charge is processed. No minimum notice period applies provided the cancellation is completed before renewal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already paid period. The subscriber retains access until the end of that paid period unless access is suspended or the subscription is terminated for breach.
6. Recommended minimum participation
Bean Luxe recommends a minimum participation period of six months to allow onboarding, profile development and meaningful use of the platform.
This is a commercial recommendation only and does not create a mandatory minimum contractual term or fixed minimum commitment period.
7. Refund policy
Once the subscription has been activated, payments are normally non-refundable.
Exceptions may apply only where required by law or in the event of payment errors, duplicate charges or failure to provide the service directly attributable to Bean Luxe.
Cancellation does not entitle the subscriber to a full or partial refund for a monthly or annual billing period that has already started.
8. Included services
The standard roaster subscription currently includes:
- onboarding after subscription payment;
- a public roastery profile;
- up to five active coffee profiles;
- access to the Bean Luxe Compass roaster dashboard;
- taste-based coffee discovery and matching;
- basic analytics;
- Bean Luxe onboarding and platform support.
Services may evolve as the platform develops. The subscription does not guarantee sales, leads, traffic, visibility levels, rankings, revenue or any other commercial result.
Platform availability may occasionally be interrupted or limited for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances beyond Bean Luxe's reasonable control.
9. Additional services and coffee slots
Bean Luxe may introduce optional paid features, additional coffee slots, premium services or third-party integrations.
Any optional addition will not reduce the services already included in the subscriber's active plan unless the reduction is communicated in accordance with the contractual-change procedure in Section 13.
10. Subscriber content licence
The subscriber grants Bean Luxe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, valid for the duration of the subscription and for a reasonable archival period afterwards, to use, reproduce, adapt, translate, format, display and distribute submitted materials for the limited purposes described below.
- logos;
- brand names;
- product descriptions;
- coffee information;
- photographs;
- videos;
- origin and producer information;
- other submitted media.
The licence is limited to operating Bean Luxe Compass, promoting the subscriber's presence on the platform, Bean Luxe editorial content, platform demonstrations, trade fairs, events, presentations and partner or communication materials connected to Bean Luxe Compass.
The subscriber confirms that it owns or is duly authorised to use and license all submitted materials.
11. Accuracy and compliance
The subscriber is responsible for keeping business, coffee, pricing, availability, product and origin information accurate, lawful and up to date.
The subscriber must not submit illegal, misleading, defamatory, infringing or otherwise unauthorised content.
12. Suspension and termination
Bean Luxe may suspend or terminate an account in case of failed or overdue payments, false or misleading information, unlawful content, infringement of intellectual-property or third-party rights, misuse of the platform, conduct materially inconsistent with Bean Luxe quality, transparency or professional standards, or material breach of these Terms.
Where reasonably possible, Bean Luxe will first request correction and provide an appropriate opportunity to remedy the issue.
Immediate suspension or termination may apply in serious, unlawful, fraudulent, security-related or reputationally damaging cases.
13. Changes to subscription fees, services and contractual terms
Bean Luxe may change subscription fees, included services or contractual terms where reasonably justified by changes in operating costs, platform development, service scope, market conditions, tax changes, legal or regulatory requirements, third-party supplier costs, security needs or other justified business reasons.
- Material changes will normally be notified by email or through the platform at least 30 days before taking effect.
- Changes do not apply retroactively.
- For annual plans, a new price applies only from the next annual renewal.
- For monthly plans, a new price applies from the first renewal taking place after the notice period.
- Subscribers who do not accept a material change may cancel before it takes effect. The subscription remains active until the end of the already paid period and no further renewal will be charged after a valid cancellation.
- Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Where a change must take effect sooner because of law, authority instructions, security needs or other urgent circumstances, Bean Luxe may use a shorter notice period and will provide information as soon as reasonably possible.
14. Intellectual property
Bean Luxe, Bean Luxe Compass, the related software, matching logic, interfaces, editorial structure, brand assets and original content remain the exclusive property of Bean Luxe or its licensors.
The subscription grants only a limited, revocable right to use the service during the active paid term and does not transfer ownership of any Bean Luxe intellectual property.
15. Data and privacy
Personal-data processing is governed by the current Privacy Policy. These Terms do not reproduce that policy in full.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
The subscription agreement is governed by Italian law.
For disputes arising from the B2B subscription relationship, the exclusive competent court is Florence, Italy, unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Company information
The contracting entity is BEAN LUXE S.R.L., VAT number / Italian tax code 07353920486, with registered office at Frazione Molezzano 65, 50039 Vicchio (FI), Italy.
